Job Title: Site Maintenance ManagerJob Description

As a Site Maintenance Manager, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and management to site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers within the North American Fulfillment Network. You will be responsible for developing business plans for the Maintenance Department and implementing reliability plans to enhance facility uptime. You will drive best practices in maintenance, ensuring innovation, standardization, and safety, while providing strategic guidance to senior leadership on maintenance issues.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers.
  • Develop and implement business and reliability plans for the Maintenance Department.
  • Drive maintenance best practices, innovate, and improve work methods.
  • Provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices.
  • Commission equipment and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes.
  • Advise senior leadership on maintenance and equipment end-of-life issues.
  • Oversee budget development, execution, and capital planning.
  • Manage vendor support and equipment relationships to maximize economies of scale.
  • Monitor, audit, and enforce maintenance execution and training drills.
  • Develop and manage budget and contract documents.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire talent for Maintenance Manager roles.
  • Support the creation of a world-class Maintenance organization.
  • Relocate as required for company needs.
Essential Skills
  • 10+ years of experience managing large complex facilities organizations.
  • 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience in corporate or regional Maintenance roles leading 80 or more employees.
  • Experience in managing change and maintenance teams across multiple sites.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing employee performance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient data analysis and new process development skills.
  • Experience with material handling equipment and integrated systems maintenance.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of major MHE integrators.
  • Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis, and labor productivity analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and SQL.
  • MBA or other Master’s degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus.

This role operates within a highly complex automated distribution center, leading a team of over 80 technicians providing daily support to 24/7 operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
