Location: Gardnerville, NV (On-site)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $17.84 – $19.50/hour

Type: Contract-to-Hire (12 months)

About the Role

Are you a Certified Medical Assistant looking for meaningful work, career growth, and a supportive healthcare environment? The Washoe Tribal Health Center is seeking a Medical / Telemedicine Assistant I to join its dedicated clinical team.

What You’ll Do

• Support providers during in-person and telemedicine visits
• Perform patient intake, vital signs, and clinical documentation
• Assist with lab orders, referrals, prescriptions, and follow-ups
• Maintain exam room and supply organization
• Communicate with patients and care teams professionally
• Learn and grow within a structured clinical career pathway

What We’re Looking For

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a clinical and telemedicine environment
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality care

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gardnerville, NV.

The pay range for this position is $17.84 - $19.50/hr.
