Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Member
Services Advocate to support members during the Annual Enrollment Period.
This role serves as a primary point of contact for member inquiries related to
benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and other aspects of plan services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional
customer service, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring member satisfaction
at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Support: Act as an advocate for members by addressing questions and concerns regarding healthcare benefits and services.
- Language Interpretation: Provide interpretation support for incoming calls. While call volume is expected to be low, candidates must be able to conduct full conversations in Cantonese.
- Administrative Support: Perform light administrative tasks during downtime, including database maintenance, ad hoc projects, and limited outbound calling.
- Training: Comprehensive training will be provided for all administrative duties and call handling expectations.
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service
- Basic administrative and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role
- Experience in healthcare, medical or dental offices, or hospitality is a plus
- Call center experience is welcome but not required
