Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
- Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company-owned equipment.
- Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel, Gas, and LP).
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics.
- Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.
- Complete vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards.
- Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- Experience with ground support equipment, engines, and diesel engines.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repair, and service of automotive or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with DOT policies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge.
- Basic tool set required; power tools will be provided.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/diploma preferred.
- ASE certification preferred.
- Experience as a lube or diesel tech is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Overtime is possible but not guaranteed. The position is contract-to-hire, typically transitioning to direct hire around 18 weeks based on performance.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
