Under the direction of the Avionics Crew Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining and installing avionics systems and performing complex troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics systems and equipment.
Responsibilities- Operate various digital and analog test sets, primarily for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems.
- Make minor metal repairs, such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks.
- Swing and compensate aircraft compass systems.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers' installation manuals.
- Install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems.
- Perform all work to FAA and Dassault standards.
- Present yourself professionally in day-to-day contact with customers, guests, and co-workers.
- Expertise in avionics troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in avionics installation.
- Strong computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduation from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Avionics Technician, ideally in a business jet environment.
- Military or commercial aviation background considered.
- Must supply own tools required to perform the job.
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers.

Work EnvironmentWork is performed in an aircraft hangar, as part of a major service provider for Falcon Aircraft located in Reno.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
