Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center, where you will perform blood draws and handle various phlebotomy tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles for the majority of procedures, with the option to use butterfly needles for difficult cases.
• Handle infant and pediatric blood draws as needed.
• Process and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all administrative tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques, including the use of straight needles.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drawing blood.
• Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with infant and pediatric blood draws is a plus.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a dynamic patient service center. The work schedule includes shifts from Monday to Friday, with varying hours starting as early as 8 am and ending as late as 6 pm, and rotating Saturdays from 7 am to 3:30 pm at Brentwood or Bay Shore locations. This role does not include holiday or vacation shifts and is ideal for those who enjoy a change of scenery and occasional in-state travel

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Babylon, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
