We’re looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Business Partnerto join our team at a high-volume, unionized manufacturing and distribution facility in the South Bronx. This is your opportunity to make a real impact—supporting frontline employees, empowering operational leaders, and driving a culture of engagement and excellence.
🔧What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to HR partner for plant operations across multiple shifts.
- Guide leaders and employees through employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain a strong, visible presence on the floor to build trust and proactively address concerns.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, union contracts, and internal policies.
- Lead investigations into workplace complaints and policy violations.
- Collaborate with Safety and EHS teams on incident reporting and return-to-work programs.
- Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to support the full employee lifecycle.
- Coach frontline leaders on effective people management and labor practices.
- Drive process improvements that enhance HR operations and employee satisfaction.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives.
🧠What You Bring
- Bilingual fluencyin English and Spanish (required).
- 2–3 years of HR experiencein a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar setting.
- Experience in aunionized environmentwith working knowledge of labor relations.
- Strong understanding ofemployment laws, investigations, and employee relations.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset.
🎓Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems like Kronos.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
Compensation:$48
