Selector Packer – $18/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift (end times may vary)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Selector Packers to join our distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and loading products from the distribution center onto delivery trucks. You’ll operate a variety of material handling equipment and play a key part in ensuring orders are processed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping documentation to determine items needing selection
- Pick and assemble customer orders and place them on pallets for delivery, using RF scanners and warehouse technology
- Load products onto trucks in the correct sequence to support efficient delivery routes
- Inspect products to ensure nothing is damaged before loading
- Perform equipment inspections at the start of each shift and complete required log sheets
- Clean work areas and return equipment to charging stations at end of shift
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, reporting any safety concerns
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed
Essential Skills
- Experience with order picking, packing, inventory handling, and general warehouse operations
- Proficiency using RF scanners
- Ability to operate:
- Electric pallet jacks
- Manual pallet jacks
- Forklifts (sit‑down preferred)
- Hand trucks, dollies, and related material handling tools
- Experience with picking, packaging, and loading processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using stock pickers, wrapping machines, two‑wheelers, carts, high lifts, and order pickers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs+ on a regular basis
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and accuracy
- Ability to meet productivity goals in a fast‑paced environment

Work Environment
- Physically demanding, repetitive tasks involving:
- Standing, walking, reaching
- Stooping, crouching, climbing, kneeling as needed
- Frequent lifting and moving of items 50+ lbs
- Moderate to high noise levels in a secured distribution facility
- Fast-paced environment with strict productivity and accuracy expectations
- Team sizes range from 5–10 associates
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheektowaga, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
