Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Screen Room Operator for our 7th Shift. The successful candidate will operate and maintain various machines in a cleanroom setting, adhering to quality control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines such as scalper, classifier, sweco, and rotex according to work instruction standards.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machines and containers to meet quality control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness by following 'clean as you go', CORE, and FOD expectations.
• Utilize personal protective equipment and adhere to all environmental health and safety requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production setting working with machines as a general production worker, machine operator, or plant laborer.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as a G.E.D., or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• U.S. Person or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom environment within a leading aerospace manufacturer known for its high-quality aircraft engines used in civil and military aviation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
