Description
Our client is looking to add a temporary desktop support technician to join their team. These resources will work hand in hand with the current team to support about 500-700 internal employees as well as 9,000 students in the different campuses. The client has 4 campuses between the Bronx, Manhattan, Dobbs Ferry, and Tarrytown. Each candidate will need to be comfortable commuting and providing support for each campus.
These individuals will provide level 2 support for escalated tickets from the level 1 help desk. The candidates should have prior enterprise level experience working in a desktop support position. MacOS familiarity is not required but would be helpful in this position. These candidates will be supporting users such as students, faculty and staff both on Campus and Remote.
Candidates need to be flexible working a 35 hour work week 5 days a week which could include either Saturday or Sunday. A level of flexibility working weekends is mandatory. Each candidate needs to be flexible with the shifts they work as well. Shifts will either first or second between the hours of:
8am-4pm
9am-5pm
12pm-8pm
Saturday's and Sunday's: 8am-4pm
Candidates must also be able and willing to work the days leading up to Thanksgiving, the weekend afterwards, and the week that follows Christmas. This time will be used to install and configure a variety of hardware including Windows and MAC devices.
This requires a level of responsibility and comfort with potentially working a shift as the sole person supporting the end users.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High level of customer service is a must have for these technicians. Each candidate should have experience working in a desktop support position in an enterprise level company. Prior experience working in higher education would be benefit. Some additional skills are: IP phone knowledge, WiFi networking and connectivity, deploying hardware and updating old hardware.
