Description
Our customer is a Technology Service Provider throughout Westchester and Rockland Counties. This customer has a centralized support team that provides infrastructure, telecommunications, systems, and service desk support to their clients. The current service desk team is looking to bring on two temporary workers to join their team.
The two technicians will be responsible for answering and escalating calls as they come into the service desk. During this time, the volume of tickets grows 300%. Therefore, this person will be responsible for directing large amount of calls to the other service desk analyst and field staff. Entry level technical troubleshooting knowledge will be essential for this role.
The manager explained customer service is the most important aspect of this role. Someone who can speak with end users while working in a high stress situation is crucial. Effective communication skills are extremely important in order to stay organized and provide support to the community of end users.

Hardware, Software, PC support, Deployment,/Migration, Remote Support,, Password Resets, Ticketing system experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Communication and customer service are just as important as the technical background. This person must have a good demeanor around anyone they encounter in person and over the phone.
