You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse architectural projects—particularly in the retail and restaurant sectors—while contributing to a team that values creativity, precision, and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop clear, accurate, and high‑quality Construction Documents
- Work side‑by‑side with the Project Manager and Drafters to solve design and coordination challenges
- Review drawings, create redlines, and ensure all documentation meets firm and code standards
- Lead and organize site visits, field surveys, and project assessments
- Bring proactive energy—contributing ideas, anticipating needs, and showing the drive to grow into higher‑level roles
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- 3–6 years of professional architectural experience, preferably in technical roles
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Solid understanding of building codes and zoning regulations
- Proven experience preparing Construction Documents
Bonus Skills
- Experience in Construction Administration
- Experience in Retail and Restaurant project types
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and Photoshop
- Architectural licensure (or progress toward it) is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melville, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
