Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector with experience in manufacturing and industrial equipment. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a passion for quality assurance in the aerospace industry. The position requires the use of predetermined methods and specifications to perform comprehensive inspections on aerospace parts, including airflow testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and complete inspections on aerospace parts using predetermined methods and specifications.
• Conduct airflow testing on machined aerospace engine parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Utilize a computer system to verify inspection results and determine part pass/fail status.
• Sign off on inspection sheets or travelers once inspections are completed.
• Work closely with other night shift inspectors to ensure consistent quality assurance.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing experience with industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
• Quality experience is preferred.
• Mechanical ability is a must.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and calipers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and follow blueprints.
• Strong quality control and assurance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must pass a 20/25 vision test (with corrective lenses) on the first day.
• High attention to detail and good computer skills are required.
• Good handwriting skills are essential.
• Past inspection/auditing experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MIDDLETOWN, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
