Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee and coordinate commercial construction projects within active hospital environments. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. The ideal candidate will ensure project schedules are maintained, daily tasks are completed, and all work aligns with construction plans and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a detailed daily log of site operations and progress.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors across all major trades.
• Ensure completion of daily punch list items and overall project milestones.
• Review and interpret construction drawings including ductwork, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Address and resolve field-related questions and discrepancies in plans.
• Serve as the primary site contact, interacting professionally with hospital staff including doctors, nurses, and operations personnel.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising healthcare-related construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience handling RFIs and Change Orders.
• No formal degree required.
