Actalent is hiring for a Physical Therapist Assistant


About: Assist Physical Therapists in delivering plans tailored to individual client needs. Document patient responses before, during, and after therapy sessions. Educate clients and their families on post-treatment care and home exercises. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean, safe, and ready for use.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Document and monitor patient responses during and after therapy sessions.
  • Educate clients and their families on post-treatment care and prescribed home exercises.
  • Maintain precise and current patient records.
  • Ensure therapy areas and equipment are clean, secure, and prepared for use.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • State licensure or certification as a PTA.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physical therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Work Environment:

The role requires working in person with an 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
