Job Description
A well-established general contractor specializing in commercial interiors for over a century is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Support commercial interior construction projects in NYC.
- Manage construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Utilize Procore software for project management.
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in project management.
- Proficiency in Procore software.
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in retail or healthcare construction.
- Knowledge of Sage software.
- Consistent employment history.
Work Environment
The position requires working in the office five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. While 90% of the time will be spent in the office, there is flexibility to visit project sites if paperwork is managed efficiently.
