Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Job Description

This position provides support for the coordination and execution of research studies conducted at the Medical Center. Key responsibilities include assisting with participant recruitment and enrollment, facilitating grant-related activities, collecting research data, and supporting overall study operations. The role also serves as a point of contact for the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Research on Decedents Oversight Committee, and both internal and external funding agencies.

The coordinator helps ensure that all research activities are carried out in compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), HIPAA regulations, and all other relevant requirements protecting patients, subjects, decedents, investigators, and research sponsors. The role involves direct interaction with patients, study participants, and Principal Investigators, particularly in support of clinical trials. This position operates under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, allied health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (0–1 years).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.
• Competence in using research‑related equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Comfort using internet-based applications.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems through analysis and critical thinking.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in New York,NY.
