Site Safety Inspector

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Inspector to join a dynamic team overseeing multiple construction projects across New York City. This is a day-shift role (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) focused on ensuring safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and supporting the development of health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine safety inspections across various active project sites.
• Prepare and submit detailed safety inspection reports.
• Assist in the creation and review of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Lead safety training sessions for on-site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NYC Building Code, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Provide on-site support to ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction safety or site safety inspection.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid SST Card.
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites across the five boroughs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NYC DOB, DEP, DOT, and other local/state/federal safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and reporting.

Preferred Certifications

• CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is a plus.
• Additional safety training certifications are highly desirable.
