We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Safety Inspector to join a dynamic team overseeing multiple construction projects across New York City. This is a day-shift role (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) focused on ensuring safety compliance, conducting site inspections, and supporting the development of health and safety programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine safety inspections across various active project sites.
- Prepare and submit detailed safety inspection reports.
- Assist in the creation and review of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Lead safety training sessions for on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NYC Building Code, and other applicable safety regulations.
- Provide on-site support to ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction safety or site safety inspection.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Valid SST Card.
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites across the five boroughs.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, NYC DOB, DEP, DOT, and other local/state/federal safety regulations.
- Demonstrated experience conducting safety inspections and reporting.
Preferred Certifications
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification is a plus.
- Additional safety training certifications are highly desirable.
