Job Title: Electrical Jr Mechanic

Job Description

The Electrical Jr Mechanic will be responsible for executing electrical installation, as well as bending and installing conduit. The role involves working with EMT, galvanized, and rigid materials, installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, mounting boxes and panels. Other responsibilities include pulling wires, managing roughing MC & BX cables, implementing Lutron lighting packages and more.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints for electrical projects.
• Execute electrical layout, conduit bending, and installation.
• Install and manage EMT, galvanized, and rigid conduits.
• Install switch gear, mount boxes and panels.
• Pull wires and manage roughing MC & BX cables.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in conduit bending and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with NEC Code and electrical layout.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possession of SST 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• 4+ years of relevant Electrician experience.
• Strong understanding of NEC code.

Work Environment

The role is based in Manhattan with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including a half-hour lunch break. Employees will use mobile clock-in codes for time tracking. A safety-oriented environment ensures PPE is worn at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in New York,NY.
