💰 Salary Range: $52,000 – $80,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Environmental Scientists with strong experience in asbestos project monitoring to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing asbestos and lead paint remediation projects. You’ll work on-site across NYC’s five boroughs, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

🔍 What You’ll Do

As a key member of our environmental team, you’ll:

• ✅ Conduct environmental investigations and site assessments.
• ✅ Perform asbestos and lead paint inspections.
• ✅ Oversee remediation and abatement projects.
• ✅ Monitor air quality and perform XRF testing.
• ✅ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• ✅ Provide technical support and write detailed environmental reports.

🎓 What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or science.
• NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector Certification (Required).
• Asbestos Project Monitor Certification (Required).
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Required).
• Air Monitoring & Air Sampling Technician experience.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Bonus: OSHA 30 Certification is a plus!
