Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, production, and planning aspects of various projects, ranging in type, complexity, scope, and budget. This role requires supporting the project team with technical expertise and providing sound solutions, particularly for K-12, higher education, and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and understand systems such as building power, lighting, low-voltage systems, and photovoltaic projects.
• Efficiently deliver comprehensive construction documents.
• Collaborate effectively with other disciplines.
• Meet deadlines to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
• Contribute to the process and workflow of an architecture/engineering project design team, maintaining established cost budgets and timelines.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical engineering experience in an office environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office or other presentation/editing software.
• Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Self-driven with a desire to learn and grow professionally, with the ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Revit is a plus.
• Previous public-sector experience is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is based in a small office environment with a total of four employees. The role includes traveling to job sites once a week. The work environment encourages collaboration and professional growth, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Patchogue, NY.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
