Field Service Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Field Service Coordinator to join our growing team.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless service operations—from scheduling field engineers to providing initial technical support and managing service quotes. This position blends administrative excellence with technical aptitude and requires daily collaboration with customers, Field Service Engineers, and internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Shipping.
📍 Poughkeepsie, NY | 🕒 Full-Time, Permanent | 💼 On-Site
💰 Salary: $72,000 – $92,000 annually
🗓 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm

Top Must-Have Skills
- 5+ Years: of experience in customer service or service coordination in a manufacturing environment
- Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to assist customers with initial technical issues over the phone; familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.
- ERP System Proficiency: Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage service calls, quotes, and internal coordination.
- Microsoft Office Suite Expertise: Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, and Teams for communication, scheduling, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule field service calls.
- Manage service quotes and follow-ups.
- Provide initial technical troubleshooting and guidance over the phone.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and internal teams.
- Support Field Service Engineers with logistics and documentation.
- Ensure a world-class customer experience through proactive service and follow-through.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in customer service or service coordination.
- Associate Degree or technical training preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing, machinery, or industrial environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation and PLC troubleshooting is a bonus.
