Official Title: Desktop Technician


The client is looking for a desktop technician to come and help with the support of 18 company sites across Monroe County. On a day to day this candidate is going to be responsible for doing hardware set ups, support, and swap outs. They are also going to be responsible for troubleshooting minor software issues from a Windows 10 basis and minor network issues as well.


This position will differ from the level I as this candidate will be responsible for creating user accounts within active directory. They will be responsible for owning all O365 issues and they will also handle minor server and networking related issues as well. On top of this, the level II will also serve as the lead on site while the manager is either busy or on the road.


Travel will be required for this job. Candidates will need a reliable source of transportation and will be reimbursed for mileage ($0.58.5/mile)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Responsible for all desktop technical issues and tracking to resolution using Spiceworks ticketing system.

· Responsible for maintaining procedural documentation for both new and existing hardware and desktop software applications.

· Manages Microsoft Active Directory and all Microsoft applications.

· Works in conjunction with IT Director and Synergy Network Operations Center troubleshooting network issues both hardware and software related.

· Responsible for all desktop and related equipment upgrades for both hardware and software applications.

· Responsible for wireless technologies, mobile devices, camera systems, copiers, fitness equipment and related equipment.

· Follows industry standards regarding security and backups practices.

· Assists in needs assessment and/or research for recommendations of new and/or upgrades for any IT projects.


· Oversees inventory control of desktop supplies and all network equipment and all related hardware.


· Supports Association objectives and goals by demonstrating the client's mission and core values.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
