General Laborer

Join our team as a General Laborer, where you will utilize hand and power tools to create, assemble, and fabricate crates and boxes in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Working with various types of wood and timber, you will be responsible for assembling packages and performing basic quality checks upon completion. You will build and assemble boxes based on provided diagrams.

• Use hand and power tools to fabricate crates and boxes.
• Cut lumber to set measurements using a table saw and tape measure.
• Assemble lumber using hand tools to create crates for shipping and boxing.
• Perform basic quality checks on completed crates.
• Work off diagrams to accurately build and assemble crates.
• Adapt to various tasks and areas within the facility as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience in construction labor or general labor.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Skill in accurately reading a tape measure to all dimensions.
• Experience working off diagrams to build and assemble crates.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• General labor and warehouse environment experience.
• Experience with power tools and tape measures.
• Construction, hand tool, forklift, and carpentry experience.
• Mechanically inclined and technically sound.
• Production experience is a plus but not required.

Work within a close-knit warehouse/shop environment with less than 10 employees. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7am-3:20pm, and you will report to the foreman for training.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
