We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team, offering opportunities on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. A differential will be applied to 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role is crucial for performing inspection duties such as line coverage, audit reviews, and monitoring charts. The position requires the completion of all necessary paperwork and data entry specific to quality assurance monitoring.
Responsibilities- Perform line checks, including in-process testing, component verification, barcode operation, sample review, aseptic monitoring, and end-item inspection.
- Complete line clearance inspections and review area logs for proper documentation before lot processing.
- Check in all components before production use.
- Review and approve production records and associated paperwork, ensuring all calculations are correct.
- Conduct chart, log, product, and document reviews.
- Perform batch record reviews for accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Oversee documentation of production interventions as needed.
- Conduct area purges, including packaging and vial wash.
- Perform shelf reserve sampling, reviews, TRRs, and documentation.
- Successfully complete Manual Inspection Qualification for vial inspections.
- Attend meetings as required or requested.
- Promote a safe and harmonious work environment.
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Audit and quality assurance experience.
- Knowledge of compliance, internal auditing, and FDA regulations.
- Associates degree in science or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of quality assurance experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and general computer functions.
- Experience in quality auditing practices.
- Understanding of processes relevant to quality compliance, regulatory and development processes, and cGMP requirements for pharmaceuticals.
- Knowledge of HACCP and other audit schemes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced problem safety sensitivity and the ability to recognize safety issues.
- Time management skills for personal and team tasks.
- Vigilance in quality and compliance.
- Ability to inspect and coach others in line with company SOPs.
- Critical thinking and advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to effectively present the company's quality strategy to various stakeholders.
- Flexibility in work hours and ability to provide motivational support.
- Maintain a professional, positive attitude.
- Advanced project management and documentation skills.
- Effective training and instructional skills.
The work environment includes clean rooms, labs, and production areas.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
