HIRING A MEDICAL ASSISTANT IN LONG ISLAND!!



Medical Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time (Contract – 6 Months)

Locations:

  • Riverhead, NY
  • Shirley, NY
  • Southampton, NY

Key Responsibilities

  • Take and record patient vital signs
  • Conduct patient intake: collect medical history, record symptoms, and escort patients to exam rooms
  • Prepare and stock examination rooms
  • Clean and sterilize instruments using autoclave
  • Set up rooms for procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant diploma program
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with EMR systems (Eclinical Works preferred)
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, with flexibility for late nights and rotating weekends

Skills & Competencies

Must-Have Skills:

  • Medical assisting (clinical)
  • Phlebotomy
  • Vital signs and patient care
  • EMR usage (ECW preferred)
  • Primary care support

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Front office experience
  • Certification credentials
  • Multispecialty experience
