Residential Alarm Technician

TEKsystems is partnering with an industry leader in the residential alarm industry with multiple needs nationwide on long term W-2 projects and actively looking for an experienced Alarm Field Technician supporting the Greater Cleveland area.

Description

• These individuals will be doing a mix of installation and service tickets.
• Job Order will include, time and location of the appointment, the Guardian customer or contact’s name, specific work to be performed, and the anticipated length of the appointment.
• Jobs can include intrusion alarm installation, installation of panel, monitoring sensors, Wireless Cameras, Smart home devices etc.
• Complete Job Order following client’s completion checklist

Equipment/Tools/Travel Required:

• Inventory - collected each week from client branch location
• Technicians are responsible for obtaining a proof of acceptance of inventory, maintaining accurate inventory levels. Inventory will be checked regularly and contractor must close jobs with the correct inventory recorded for each job in client app.
• Mileage is not payable from home to first job, or from last job to home. This is the contractors commute to work.
• Mileage is payable from job to job. Mileage must be recorded accurately and submitted to TEKsystems every week for payment.

Work Environment:

• Residential home environments often multiple sites a day.
• Need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, communicate with customer, provide clear expectations for performing the jobs for that day.
• Provide a high quality of workmanship.

Skills Required:

• Experience in alarm installation in residential settings is needed for this role.
• Experience with alarm panels, security systems such as 2Gig and Alarm.com are necessary
• Experience with wiring in a residential setting
• Experience installation devices such as door bell, automatic locks, cameras, monitoring sensors, door contacts etc.
