CNC Machinist*** $30/hr***2nd shift! (will train on 1st shift!)

Job Description

This role involves operating Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines equipped with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have strong setup and measurement skills, and a commitment to precision machining in a high-quality production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align vices and fixtures for milling operations.
• Utilize indicators to ensure precision alignment and setup.
• Operate Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Perform in-process inspections and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Makino, Haas, and Mazak milling machines.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances to the ten thousandth of an inch.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong setup skills with vices and fixtures.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with changeovers in machine operations.
• Familiarity with machine tool maintenance and precision tools.

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $58240.00/yr.
