As our Microbiology Supervisor, you’ll lead the charge in ensuring our products—from OTC drugs to EPA-registered disinfectants—meet the highest microbiological standards. You’ll be the go-to expert for testing, monitoring, and method development, all while keeping our lab audit-ready and ahead of regulatory trends.


🔍What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead USP microbiological testing across a diverse product portfolio.
  • Set action and alert limits for microbial monitoring in line with FDA guidance.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring to ensure facility cleanliness and compliance.
  • Investigate Out-of-Spec results and deviations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external audits with confidence and clarity.
  • Validate and verify microbiological methods and implement new technologies.
  • Conduct preservative efficacy and antimicrobial effectiveness testing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready lab environment.
  • Manage lab inventory, equipment maintenance, and daily operations.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and monitor for contamination sources.
  • Write, review, and revise SOPs to keep documentation sharp and compliant.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory updates.

🧠What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 5–10 years in QC Microbiology within regulated industries.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Expertise in aseptic technique, microbial enumeration, and identification.
  • Deep understanding of FDA, EPA, and USP standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record in method validation and contamination control.
