IT Configuration Technician
Position Overview
The Configuration Technician is responsible for preparing and configuring equipment prior to deployment. This includes following documented instructions, validating device functionality, and ensuring all work meets quality standards. This is an entry‑level role with opportunities for growth in the IT field.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow written instructions to configure and prepare devices for deployment based on customer requirements.
- Perform basic kitting and assembly of equipment bundles.
- Unbox, re‑box, label, and process equipment for shipment.
- Clean, test, and inspect devices to ensure proper operation.
- Escalate technical or workflow issues to supervisors as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Complete all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
- Maintain documentation and follow established procedures consistently.

Qualifications
- At least one year of related experience or relevant training preferred.
- Technical certifications are helpful but not required; willingness to pursue certifications is expected.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Frequent standing, bending, carrying, and handling of equipment.
- Occasional use of basic hand tools and cleaning materials.
- Ability to work at a computer, read instructions, and communicate clearly.
This is a Contract position based out of Brook Park, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
