Welder Fitter- Pay up to $25/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter for our night shift in Canton, OH. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and involves performing welding tasks primarily using Mig techniques on structural steel. The role requires the ability to fit and construct parts and frames while reading and interpreting blueprints and weld prints. You will utilize various measurement, hand, and power tools, as well as shop machines, to complete your tasks.

Shift:

• 3rd Shift - 6:30pm - 5:00am

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding using Mig techniques on structural steel.
• Fit and construct parts and frames.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld prints.
• Utilize measurement, hand, and power tools.
• Operate shop machines as required.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of welding experience with Mig techniques.
• 2+ years of experience with fitting.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Solid knowledge of hand, measurement, and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Tig welding is a plus.
• Experience with stainless steel welding or sheet metal welding is advantageous.

Work in a state-of-the-art facility with a brand new addition in 2023. The environment is clean, well-lit, and very safe. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.04 - $25.04/hr.
