Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Furnace Operator to join our team in Fairfield, OH. This role is on the 2nd shift, with working hours from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday. In this position, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring large furnaces, ensuring work orders are accurately filled out and read, and handling materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor large furnaces.
• Fill out and read work orders accurately.
• Load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
• Report any unusual problems to management.
• Operate a forklift as needed.

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hot, non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Steel toe boots are required.
• Willingness to work in Fairfield, OH.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with furnace operation is a plus.
• Forklift experience is advantageous.
• Machine operating experience (beyond button pushing) is preferred.
• Familiarity with job packs is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
