As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities at predetermined intervals. Your role will involve working with 480v 3-phase electrical wiring, industrial machine repairs, and troubleshooting, mostly focusing on rolling machines. You will also perform basic facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, ballasts, and providing general office support.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Conduct industrial machine repairs and troubleshooting, especially rolling machines.
- Perform basic facility maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.
- Detect faulty or unsafe operations and report them to proper supervision.
- Comply with and facilitate enforcement of all safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System.
- Industrial maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in 480v 3-phase electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- PLC troubleshooting knowledge.
- Automation skills.
- Welding capabilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Electrical troubleshooting up to 480-volt, 3-phase using a multimeter.
- Knowledge of safety protocols such as Lock Out / Tag Out, Confined Space, SDS, and OSHA regulations.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment using hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems.
- Ability to use hand and electrical tools.
- Competency in reading technical manuals and drawings.
- Ability to operate man lifts and lift trucks.

Work EnvironmentThe facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It offers a quiet working environment where employees can listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Casual dress with gym shoes and eye protection is required. Shift options include 1st shift (5am-1pm) and 3rd shift (9pm-5am) with a $1.50 shift differential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
