Job Title: Project Architect

Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing retail architecture projects from initiation to completion, with a primary focus on car dealerships. The role involves managing specific technical details and design aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of architectural designs.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the project team in all aspects of project scope, production, and implementation of construction documents.
• Coordinate consultant scope and assist in managing client expectations.
• Facilitate communication between the project team, sub-contractors, and other disciplines.
• Ensure that the production of construction documents aligns with design intent.
• Conduct code analyses and serve as the primary point of contact with jurisdictions.
• Perform submittal reviews during construction and maintain RFI and submittal logs.
• Supervise a small team of interior designers and technicians.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Architecture and Revit.
• 5-10 years of experience in an architecture background.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial or retail architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Documentation, or Design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Architect preferred.
• Experience creating architectural drawings for commercial or retail spaces.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

Length of contract is 4-6 months with possible full time employment.
