Job Title: Procurement/Contract Specialist
Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, you will support procurement activities, including bid specifications, RFP/RFQ coordination, and contract administration. Your role will involve assisting with vendor communication, bid openings, and evaluation processes while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations. Maintaining procurement files, documentation, and reporting is essential, as is collaborating with internal departments to support their purchasing needs.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement activities, including bid specifications, RFP/RFQ coordination, and contract administration.
- Assist with vendor communication, bid openings, and evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations.
- Maintain procurement files, documentation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support purchasing needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement, contract administration, or purchasing.
- Prior public sector or government procurement experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement regulations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The position is fully onsite with a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
