Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, as well as conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. The role requires expertise in 480V 3-phase electrical wiring, industrial machine repairs, and basic facility maintenance. Responsibilities include diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, and ensuring all safety regulations are complied with.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Follow a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Work with 480V 3-phase electrical wiring.
• Conduct industrial machine repairs and troubleshooting, especially for rolling machines.
• Perform basic facility maintenance, such as changing light bulbs and providing general office support.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty or unsafe operations and report to proper supervision.
• Comply with and enforce all safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Manage and record work using a computerized PM and Work Request System.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting up to 480-volt, 3-phase, and using a multimeter.
• Understanding of safety protocols such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, SDS, and OSHA regulations.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment using hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
• Ability to use hand and electrical tools.
• Capability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Operation of man lifts and lift trucks.

Work Environment

The facility is clean, organized, mildly tempered, and well-lit, providing a quiet environment where employees can listen to headphones with one earbud. The dress code is casual, requiring gym shoes and eye protection. Available shifts include 1st shift (5am-1pm) and 2nd shift (1pm-9pm) with a $1.50 shift differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
