Carpenter Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our carpentry crew in the installation of a wide variety of commercial construction elements. This individual will coordinate daily tasks, manage a team of carpenters, and ensure high-quality workmanship on schedule. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience in commercial carpentry, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to the unique challenges of the job site.

• Supervise and coordinate all carpenter crew activities on commercial projects.
• Install and oversee installation of interior and exterior rough blocking, hollow metal door frames, hollow metal doors, wood doors, commercial door hardware, custom cabinets, and countertops.
• Act as the 'go-to' trade for specialized tasks not typically performed by others.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to plan and delegate work.
• Ensure quality control, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce company/site safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
• Track materials, tools, and labor to support project budgets and schedules.

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience with installation of commercial doors, hardware, cabinets, and architectural finishes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
• OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
