Currently hiring for an Entry-Level Chemist in the north Dayton, OH area! This is a long-term career opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and grow in the field. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in a science such as Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a relative degree.


Shift: 3rd shift, 6pm - 6am. Will be working just 3-4 days per week (so total hours will be 36 or 48 hours in any given week)


Job Description:

This role is an entry-level Chemist position performing quality control testing on raw materials and finished products to meet cGMP requirements. This role will also participate in various lab activities and audits. You will primarily be testing on beverage related products.


  • Analyze samples including raw materials, finished products, process equipment, and environmental samples.
  • Test raw materials and finished products in accordance with cGMP standards.
  • Participate in lab investigations and operate laboratory equipment.
  • Engage in internal and external quality audits.
  • Maintain personal lab work area and assist with general lab cleaning tasks.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science discipline with chemistry coursework
