As a Cleanroom Packaging Assembler, you will be assigned specific products and daily build quantity goals. You will work at a station where parts and tools are pre-arranged, and you will use a computer to access prints and drawings. The role involves both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including the use of screws, bolts, framing, housings, and the laying of wires and connections. You will also utilize quality inspection instruments to ensure build tolerances are met.
Responsibilities- Achieve daily assigned product and build quantity goals.
- Access prints and drawings on a computer for assembly guidance.
- Perform mechanical assembly using screws, bolts, framing, and housings.
- Conduct electrical assembly by laying wires and making connections.
- Utilize quality inspection instruments to verify build tolerances.
- 3-5 years of technical assembly experience of full electromechanical builds.
- 3-5 years of experience reading assembly drawings and prints.
- Proficient with hand and power tools, including impact drivers, manual and electric screwdrivers, and T-Handle Allen wrenches.
- 3-5 years of experience reading metric and standard tape measures.
- 3-5 years of experience using calipers and micrometers.
- Experience with cleanroom environments.
- Experience with height gauges, thread gauges, or similar quality instruments.
- Familiarity with .03 micron tolerance specifications.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes building complex electro-mechanical assemblies for various applications. The role is based in a cleanroom that is climate-controlled, with shifts available from 6AM-2:30PM Monday-Friday, and 2:30PM-1:00AM Monday-Thursday. Optional overtime is available. The team consists of 14-16 members, and the dress code requires closed toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
