Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description
We are looking to add two dedicated Router Operators to our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine in accordance with job specifications. This role requires a team-oriented attitude and a willingness to engage in continuous improvement. You will work under the supervision of the MUL over Fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the materials used in the department.
- Plan new setups and call up the appropriate program for each job.
- Operate the machine, including loading and unloading parts, and ensure all operations meet required specifications.
- Communicate effectively with the detailing department to clarify job specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety requirements set by the company and industry standards.
- Identify defective items and manage them according to established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of experience with fabrication and press brake operation.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure up to 1/16th of an inch.
- Ability to frequently bend and stoop while handling products weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with consistent work habits.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capability to properly maintain and perform basic equipment repairs.
- Basic skills in math, reading, and writing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Lean practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with inspection, sheet metal, blueprint reading, and using calipers.
- Experience operating shear machinery.
- Experience in the sign industry.
- Experience with Press Brake programs.

Work Environment
The role is based in a standard manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled and can be loud, requiring earplugs for certain tasks. The standard working hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with an overtime schedule from 6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 6 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
