Field Technician - (Local Travel)

1st shift

Pay: $22-$27 (Depends on experience)

Job Description

This position involves working as a mechanical technician to perform repairs and installations on dock equipment, warehouse racking, and conveyor systems. We are seeking individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who can troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and installations on dock equipment, warehouse racking, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical-related issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Work with bearings, pulleys, gears, and gearboxes.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in a mechanical maintenance role.
  • 1+ year of experience troubleshooting mechanically related issues.
  • Experience with bearings, pulleys, gears, and gearboxes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Specific experience working on dock-related equipment, conveyors, or racking systems.
  • Proficiency in welding and reading blueprints.

Work Environment

This role involves traveling to various warehouse-type companies to perform work primarily inside the warehouse. The work mainly involves dock equipment and conveyor systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dublin, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $52000.00/yr.
