Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Stager, where you will play a crucial role in our production process by ensuring raw materials are properly staged and documented. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a growing company that values precision and quality in food manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production schedules, formulas, batch sheets, and Bills of Lading.
- Pull and stage raw materials in the correct batch sequence using designated lot numbers.
- Accurately document lot numbers, weights, and material usage with zero errors.
- Open containers using manual and pneumatic tools such as can openers and knives.
- Return unused raw materials to proper storage locations.
- Follow all BRC, food safety, quality, and legal requirements.
- Complete all required training and demonstrate ability to perform trained tasks.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with food safety protocols.
- Perform data entry in manufacturing and quality systems (QS/OEE).
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 month of related manufacturing or production experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures exactly.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) — accuracy is critical.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous food manufacturing experience.

Work Environment
This is a GMP environment which requires no jewelry, fake eyelashes, or piercings. Certain areas of the facility can be cold, and jackets are provided for comfort. The facility is wet on the floor but is very well lit and relatively comfortable.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elyria, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
