Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our team in producing large assembly lines for well-known companies. This position involves working in a team of 4-6 people, providing vital fabrication and welding support to the machining department. Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.
• Utilize blueprints for accurate fabrication processes.
• Conduct cutting, punching, and grinding of steel.
• Operate tool and die, vertical milling, CNC lathe, and surface grinding machines.
• Train less experienced operators and provide leadership within the team.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with OSHA standards.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding with stainless steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience working with materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, 1018, and 1045.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with tool and die fabrication.
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes.

Work Environment

Located in Fredricktown, OH, our custom facility houses several departments including machining, assembly, welding/fabrication, paint, and engineering/design. The shop environment requires PPE as per OSHA standards and includes exposure to mechanical parts and chemicals. Employees are expected to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. The position is first shift, Monday to Saturday, with voluntary overtime available on Sundays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICKTOWN, OH.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $27.00/hr.
