Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician- $34-38/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical maintenance, industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and pneumatic mechanics. Proficiency in working with PLCs, compressors, welding, schematics, relay logic, electrical automation, and motors is essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical troubleshooting with industrial processing, packing, and peripheral plant equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform machining, metal fabrication, and welding tasks to fabricate small machine parts and guards.
- Manage pneumatic systems including cylinders, valves, accumulators, and compressors.
- Engage in pipefitting tasks.
- Apply relay logic skills.
- Handle high and low voltage electrical wiring.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical maintenance proficiency.
- Industrial electrical systems knowledge.
- Troubleshooting skills in pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- PLC and compressor expertise.
- Welding and metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- High and low voltage electrical wiring skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Pipefitting expertise.
- Automation and robotics experience.
- Knowledge in instrumentation and motor drives.
- Welding certification is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled food manufacturing environment that is divided into the raw product side, distribution side, and warehouse. While the facility is fairly clean, it can get colder in winter and hot in summer. The role requires working on the 2nd shift (3 PM-11:30 PM) or the 3rd shift (10:30 PM-7 AM). Employees receive uniforms and are required to wear hair nets, beard nets, non-slip shoes, and butchers' aprons depending on their work area.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
