Quality Engineer

Apply broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a specific technical area to lead projects assigned by the engineering manager. Document work effectively and present results to internal cross-functional groups. Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and training materials to support the technical area. Work cross-functionally on projects and initiatives, applying problem-solving, SPC, and other engineering fundamentals to support investigations. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including safety and environmental improvements. Engage in technical discussions with suppliers and customers in specific technical areas of focus.

• Lead projects as assigned by the engineering manager.

• Support technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
• Understand and adhere to all safety requirements, communicate identified risks to leadership, and assist in resolution.
• Complete all 5S standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Contribute to company culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct, maintaining a positive attitude and displaying enthusiasm for assigned tasks.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Broad knowledge of quality engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001, SPC, 5S, lean principles, FMEA, and quality assurance.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis, APQP, quality control, and CAPA.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years of experience within a Quality Engineer role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy.

• Broad knowledge of the technical focus area.
• Knowledge of structured problem solving, lean principles, and FMEA preferred.

This position involves a mix of on and off the floor work, following a 1st shift schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The work environment promotes safety, organization, and efficiency, adhering to 5S standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grove City, Ohio.
