Automotive Mechanic Technician II- $23-30/hr
Job Description
The Automotive Mechanic Technician II role involves performing medium-level vehicle maintenance and repair, diagnostics, inspections, and vehicle preparation. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, and is located in Grove City.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Carry out mechanical inspections.
- Ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate in vehicle upfitting and handle OEM recalls.
- Manage parts inventory.
- Test drive vehicles and diagnose issues.
- Hook up cars to computers for diagnostics and scan codes.
- Assess 10-20 vehicles per day, spending 90% of time on test driving and diagnosing.
- Perform light duty repairs such as fluid level checks and brake adjustments.

Work Environment
Work in a Body Shop/Automotive Shop environment with multiple shops dedicated to Body and Mechanics. Join a team of close to 60 people on site.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
