Job Title: Quoting Specialist (Remote)
About the Role
The Quoting Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales process by generating accurate bills of materials and delivering timely, professional project quotes. Acting as the single point of contact for all quotations within an assigned territory, this fully remote position partners closely with field sales representatives and internal teams to ensure quotes are precise, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret project plans and layouts to develop accurate bills of materials.
- Partner closely with field sales representatives to determine required materials and quoting strategy for each project.
- Prepare, revise, and manage all project quotes within the assigned sales territory.
- Create and update projects and quotes in Salesforce; verify details with sales reps and distribute finalized quotes to customers.
- Modify existing quotes to reflect changes in scope, quantities, products, or customer information.
- Ensure product numbers and pricing in Salesforce align with approved quoting guidelines and requested materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to obtain product details, pricing, and approvals as needed.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including project documentation and customer contact information.
- Review existing quotes to confirm pricing validity and coordinate updates with market analysts and sales representatives.
- Provide administrative and Salesforce support to field sales representatives.
- Distribute submittal packages and product documentation to support sales efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the quoting workflow.
- Support onboarding and development of new team members through knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company, customer, and proprietary information.
- Follow all company procedures while upholding core values of honesty, professionalism, and accountability.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in quoting, estimating, or a related role.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage quotes and customer data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing and supporting quoting activities.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple quotes simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience in civil, construction, or related industries.
- Experience or degree‑level experience in civil CAD design.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms beyond Salesforce.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and product lines.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment while staying highly responsive.
Work Environment
- Fully remote position with all necessary equipment provided.
- Fast‑paced workload, typically supporting 20–60 quotes per day.
- Standard working hours aligned with:
- Eastern Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Central Time: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Daily collaboration via phone, email, Microsoft Excel, and Salesforce.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
