Job Title: PCB Design Engineer


Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on utilizing Altium for PCB design, specifically for computing and mounting solutions aimed at mobile workforces in public safety and commercial vehicle applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in both office and lab environments, allowing you to engage in hands-on rework and redesign of PCB designs while performing testing and troubleshooting.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize Altium software for PCB design in computing and mounting solutions.
  • Engage in hands-on rework and redesign of PCB designs in a lab environment.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of designs, including thermal situations.
  • Conduct EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing and resolve any related issues.

Essential Skills

  • Ideally 3 years experience in PCB Design or Electrical Engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Altium software for PCB design.
  • Hands-on experience in PCB rework and redesign in a lab setting.
  • Experience in EMC testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Basic project management and strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working with power electronics is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a combination of office and lab settings, offering a dynamic and hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting. This position requires collaboration and engagement with various technological tools and equipment.
