We are seeking a skilled Tsugami Swiss Lathe Operator who will plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans. The role involves modifying programs and operating CNC Tsugami swiss lathe, verifying settings, maintaining specifications, and ensuring safe operations. You will maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, document actions, and support organizational goals by exploring opportunities to add value.
Responsibilities- Study work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications to plan machining.
- Modify programs and operate CNC Tsugami Swiss lathe.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
- Maintain specifications through drilling, grooving, and cutting operations.
- Detect malfunctions and troubleshoot processes.
- Adjust and reprogram controls, sharpen, and replace worn tools.
- Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work shifts.
- Participate in educational opportunities and read technical publications to update job knowledge.
- Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and support organizational goals.
- 3+ years of Swiss Lathe operation experience
- 1+ years of experience with Tsugami Swiss Lathe
- Blueprint reading
- Quality inspection utilizing inspection tools
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge in CNC, Mill, Lathe operations
- Experience with Fanuc systems

Work EnvironmentThe Hudson Facility is a part of a growing manufacturing site expanding due to production being brought from Michigan. The facility focuses on producing fasteners for the automotive industry, providing a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
