Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and building systems, utilizing a range of tools and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the buildings remains optimal.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine solutions, consulting blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or retrieve them from storerooms.
- Install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements.
- Understand and control the environmental aspects of the area.
- Recognize the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
- Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
- Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- 3-4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance within a Manufacturing Setting.
- Experience with 240v-480v Panels or as an Electrician for 3-4 years.
- 3-4 years of experience in repairing electrical or mechanical equipment.
- 3-4 years of experience in installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in welding and machining is beneficial.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and mechanical equipment.
- Skills in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge in using hand tools, fitting, welding, schematics, motors, and boiler maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment, which stays warm and can become hot during summer. Join a growing team currently consisting of 50 hourly employees. The dress code includes jeans, a work shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The position operates on the 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
